Welcome to the Loyola Medicine/FIS Charity Golf Outing website!
The golf outing will take place on June 9th at 8:00 am at the Big Run Golf Club in Lockport, Illinois. We cordially invite you to participate in this exciting event and encourage you to register early. Not only will you have fun and enjoy the health benefits from an exciting round of golf, but you will also support the breast cancer care and research at Loyola Medicine. We are asking FIS employees who want to golf for a minimum donation of $150. Last year we our goal was $60,000; our goal for 2020 is $70,000+.
If you do not wish to golf, but are interested in supporting this worthy cause, please select the “Donate Only” button and complete the required fields.
Dr. Albain was among the main co-authors of a landmark study published in the New England Journal of Medicine in 2019 that found that a 21-gene test enables many breast cancer patients to safely avoid chemotherapy. Generous gifts will support the highest priorities of the breast cancer program, including patient care, research and education, at Loyola University Medical Center's Cardinal Bernardin Cancer Center, under the direction of Kathy Albain, MD, FACP, FASCO. She holds the Huizenga Family Endowed Chair in Oncology Research at Loyola University Chicago Stritch School of Medicine, is a leader in national clinical trials of new treatments for breast cancer and her research has changed the standard of care.
Thank you in advance for your support. We look forward to seeing you on the course and sincerely appreciate your efforts to help Loyola Medicine.
